I can say a whole lot about education ranging from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs and I must say that there is quality and there is quality, at University of Manchester it can be tedious as every other university but it serves quality and quality is all that matters. As we know quality trumps Quantity.
View moreIf you want intelligent classmates who are just as dedicated to the collaborative environment as they are to being fiercely competitive, come here. A simple A is not going to be yours. It will be necessary for you to grow, learn, and stretch. The staff at the university and my teachers treated me well. college was turbulent, as it should be if you are pondering the important issues and learning new things. They also treated me nicely.
View moreI really liked the university and it had good features such as the resources in the chemistry department alongside talks/conferences. However I found the postgraduate lifestyle really isolated. I really did not enjoy my course as I realised early on the Chemistry was not something I wanted to continue with! The communications were extremely poor in terms of deadlines for reports and it took a very long time for my thesis to be marked, corrected and confirmed. The support system I found to be poor too.
