The tutors and environment were good, the library and computer facilities excellent, and the location is great for going into the centre of Manchester. Transport links are fantastic with buses and trains aplenty.

MMU was a down-to-earth place that used real-world situations rather than focusing purely on theory. The professors are friendly and genuinely want you to do well. Put in the effort, and they will help you succeed. Manchester is on the come-up, and I highly recommend exploring the city.

I loved everything about my course, it has helped me to approach my professional and academic development effectively. This is by acquiring new knowledge, skills and practice which has been demonstrated to identify what is needed. The international provision for students from various different countries was highlighted as a significant component of the programme. This is because there were different elements which were incorporated in certain units that were given in accordance with the course criteria and requirements.

Overall I like Manchester metropolitan university it has a very urban vibe and has a great range of facilities. Student services are always accessible and helpful. Lectures and sessions are very practical and relevant to future practice.

Facilities and resources offered at the university are very varied. They have a wide range of student services to help you with any queries you may have. The Halls accommodation and university buildings are all well kept and modern. It is great that the university is based in the centre of Manchester given it is easily accessible. The only thing I am slightly disappointed about even though most of our lecturers are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subjects. For me, taking Education studies we have had a few problems with tutors on our course as the university has quickly hired people to feel gaps and aren’t as well-informed on the subject as they should be. There are lots of lecturers who are very happy to help and they are willing to dedicate lots of time to organise in meeting you to sort your questions, however, there have been a few lecturers who merely read off the PowerPoint slides and don’t engage students as much as they should. That being said, the university is normally very proactive about how they deal with problems so this can be sorted easily. I thoroughly enjoy my studies at Manchester Metropolitan University, the city and atmosphere are amazing and now I’ve experienced this, I would not want to be anywhere else!
