Student review [#41650] for Ecology
at Manchester Metropolitan University

MMU is a great university overall. During my 4-year Wildlife Biology course, there were loads of opportunities for fieldwork – both abroad and in the UK, along with Erasmus and exchange years which is great if you want to travel/live abroad. however, some can be quite costly so you can rarely do them all.

Like any degree you get out what you put in, I myself ended up working abroad in Colombia with the marine national parks – though this was not an official work experience, it was possible through a connection with a lecturer at uni and using my intuition and the relationship building skills to find out about it.
