Student review [#105842] for Fashion Business Management
at Manchester Metropolitan University

Student life in Manchester is another positive aspect of the university experience. The city offers a stimulating environment, with a wide range of cultural attractions, shopping destinations, restaurants, events and social activities. These opportunities allow students to engage with the city beyond their studies, develop new interests and maintain an active social life alongside their academic commitments. Manchester’s diverse and vibrant atmosphere also provides opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and experience university life in a broader context.

There are, however, areas where additional support could improve the student experience. More guidance on academic writing, particularly in developing critical analysis and constructing original, well-supported arguments, would be beneficial.

Overall, Manchester Metropolitan University offers opportunities for academic development, professional preparation and an engaging student experience in a lively city. While improvements to student communication and academic support could be beneficial, the university provides a foundation of subject knowledge and skills that can support students’ future progression. Prospective students may benefit from researching their chosen course, available support services and extracurricular opportunities to determine how well the university aligns with their academic, personal and career goals.
