The university is good, there is support from both the lecturers/ tutors and the well-being team.

The classes are a mixture of group work, presentations and the traditional way of learning.

Overall I believe the university is good however it would be better if placement was organised in a way that we had placement blocks, then study blocks and then lecture blocks to allow us to not become burnt out and to have enough time to study and do well in our assignments.

Overall my first impressions of the uni were breathtaking and amazing. It was large, modernised and just a great location. I had a good feeling about it.

Since starting university two months ago there have been a few mishaps with teachers replying to emails and I struggle to get work done even if I can’t control it. Travelling to uni can also be difficult too. Our class and lectures are interesting even though I studied criminology in A-Levels so it is a repeat of last year but that’s to be expected from first-year learning.

It’s been a whirlwind so far and I’m so looking forward to what’s to come.
