A university that exposes you to live projects and forms connections with artists, designers and successful professionals to ease your networking for post-grad. UAL feels like a safe space to speak with peers, past and present, as well as motivating lecturers. I would recommend this university!

Amazing facilities but could be easier to book. Tutors don’t give much feedback and we barely had classes on the last year. A lot of independence which can be good and bad. Very short deadlines for intense projects and need to invest a lot of your own money to make them happen.

I didn’t see any BAME tutors, the curriculum was very focused on luxury fashion rather than showing a diverse range of designers. UAL has an amazing mental health support system put in place, mentoring and counselling changed my life but the course wasn’t too great.
