This is my second year in the University of the Arts London interior design program. Overall, my experience was good, we were provided with a lot of resources and we were able to go into any of UAL’s campuses use their library, and join events.
In our interior design course. We had lectures twice a week. We could see a tutor once a week to discuss the projects we are working on now to keep us on the right path. There is also a lot of free time for yourself too, a lot of students here work part-time while taking this course.
University of the Arts London is an amazing top-ranked place for people who are interested in understanding, perceiving and creating any forms of Art. It gives the opportunity to its students to work with great creatives who are well- known for their work. Thus providing their students with significant knowledge and thought-provoking assignments, that trigger their interaction both with the industry, they are going to work for as well as the world we live in. This way, students do not only think about the present but about the future as well. Therefore, they become people aware of their surroundings, which is crucial for the development of modern society. Through these 3 years students engage in different projects that test their abilities to try new techniques of work, provoke them to collaborate with people not only from their course but from other courses as well and to create unique pieces of Art and present them outside university. Of course, this university requires hard work and the ability to overcome ups and downs all the time. Students in UAL are encouraged to make mistakes, but to learn from them and accept them as a valuable experience.
University of the Arts London accepts open-minded people with potential and raises one of the best creatives in the fields of the Arts.
I very much like the university and how it works but the course that I’m doing (BA interior design) is new, so it is still not very organised. But overall very good university! Happy to go there! Wouldn’t want to be going anywhere else at the moment.
