Overall, I have enjoyed my time at university. The facilities are great, you have a great balance between free time and studies. However, I do feel that there could be more practical work rather than lots of theory. Nonetheless, I have had the opportunity to meet lots of people and learn a lot of new things.
View moreMy opinion about the University I studied at is that generally it is good if you’re looking to study in London. You’re allowed to visit each campus whether your course is on it or not. I’d like to point out this University has lot of great opportunities for growth but only if you attend activities outside of your course.
I studied specifically in the London College of Communications campus in Elephant and Castle. They had facilities available to students. However, they were only available to certain courses which was quite frustrating if you needed to use them for your project.
Some of the tutors seemed genuinely invested in you and tried to engage with your work. However, in my final year of uni some of the staff were replaced and seemed like they didn’t want to be there.
Overall, despite the University having a good reputation/ name for itself I wouldn’t recommend it, especially because it’s costly for what it is.
View moreThis University has great facilities for film/tv production. The degree is very hands-on and it really allows you to explore and grow independently.
My campus LCC is spacious, there is a library and plenty of studying space. There is also a cafe and open space to have group meetings.
The classrooms were very accommodating and allow enough space for you to follow your lectures without the distractions of being overcrowded.
The members of staff are kind and helpful and everyone is always willing to help you out if they can.
UAL has several campuses and the great thing is that you can visit anywhere campus should you need their resources like the library or if you wanted to attend their events/meetups or clubs.
Overall the University is a great place to study and socialize.
