I consider UEL’s campus to be stunning. To enhance each student’s experience, UEL offers a wide variety of clubs and activities. There are groups where students from all different backgrounds can connect despite the lack of diversity, which can be challenging for many students to adapt to.
View moreIt’s a setting that is warm and welcoming and where friendships can last a lifetime. There are several chances to participate on campus and in the community. Inside and outside of the classroom, every single student has the potential to excel.
View moreI have recently wrapped up my first year studying biochemistry at the University of East London and it has more than exceeded my expectations. Coming from America, UEL had stuck out as being my cheapest (and furthest) option to go to school. Not only did the course and the lecturers prove to amaze me, I was stunned by how hands on everything was. In a science based degree, you’d hope to get practical experience and that’s exactly what you get! A large percent of your module time is spent in workshops and labs and even tutorial sessions of small groups.
As amazing as the academic side proved to be, what was even better was the involvement and dedication of the support offices and residential life. There are multiple places to find guidance, whether it be specifically for international students, for academic help or even mental health. Additionally, the residential life on campus continually sets up events and movie screenings each week along with sports event so there is never a moment to be bored!
I would highly recommend considering to do your studies at UEL.
