Studying at UCL has been an incredible experience, especially because of its diverse and international community. Being in London, a global hub, means I get to meet people from all over the world, making both academic and social life truly enriching. One of the things I appreciate most is the flexibility in course selection—UCL offers a wide range of modules, and the ability to take classes from different departments creates a well-rounded learning experience. I also love the central location, especially being on Tottenham Court Road, which puts me right in the heart of the city with easy access to amazing food, culture, and events. However, the fast-paced nature of London can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially during peak hours. Despite that, UCL offers an exciting, dynamic, and intellectually stimulating environment, making it a fantastic place to study. I would highly recommend!

It has been a dream of mine to come to this university and it has never dissapointed. This institution has been home to most of my family and it has showen repeatedly that despite its size, it cares for each of its students. Professors care for their pupils and how they interact with their lessons. The student union, which provides fabulous social events, makes sure to support everyone at the university, down to the most basic members. Lastly, the mental health access is great and extensive. In any case, the feeling exists that this university not only cares about you but also your education.

UCL is organised with the style of lecture content they deliver in advance. They upload appropriate videos and lecture content through powerpoint or pdf files prior to attending the lectures to give us a heads-up to what we will be learning. I like this a lot as i can prepare, not falling behind, and i can understand what the lecturers say in the live sessions.

Absolutely love it! Easy pace to navigate, safe campus, lovely students and staff. Endless opportunities available here and easy to access world class facilities and teaching. I have loved my time here, it has really flown by. Can’t wait to continue my journey here and make many more memories.

The vibrancy of London is inherent in being at UCL, with the programme spanning different campuses – I was able to experience travelling and going around and enjoying cutting-edge scientific research. With the world-renowned alumni and staff that provide help throughout each challenging component of the course.

UCL Medical School is a lovely and welcoming faculty to be in at UCL. The staff are so receptive and willing to help students out – no matter what team (be it the student support team, the admin team, module leads etc). Sure, it gets things wrong sometimes but the medical school are so willing to receive and act on feedback, so you can be sure your voice will be heard.

The medical school has its only students association too which is ran by students for students. Expect lots of social events to help you feel welcome at uni and to help you celebrate academic milestones!

Overall, I would recommend the UCL medical school to any prospective student unreservedly.

UCL has excellent academic and research standards. All academics are professional but approachable at the same time. Some departments, however, might need to be more organised so that students can make the most of their studies. Nice location as well.

My course was clinical and public health nutrition. Good teaching staff. Flexibility in attending classes. Updated knowledge. Got experience in writing skills and research layout. I recommend this course.

One of the best in the world, a beautiful campus in the heart of London which lends itself to a fantastic social scene.

The teaching is thorough, captivating and cultivates a real student to bring the best out of them, with professors and educators that are always available to guide and support.

The course is amazing and so are the professors. We are given amazing opportunities and are able to contact any member of staff without problems. There is so much support given from staff to help us succeed.
