The methods used to foster insight by the tutors at Imperial College are not only hands on, but also facitlitate memory. My classes were pegged on course materials as well as experiantial learning, where both professors and students shared their perspectives on a variety of topical issues that affected not only life at the college, but also focused on giving solutions to the signiicant challenges that weigh down humanity. Every experience was worthy, and every class built me.

At ICL, we were mostly required to study independently. Classes at the university are 6-7 hours a week, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have anything to do. For each lesson, we were given a list of mandatory and recommended reading (minimum 300-400 pages per week), so “doing everything on the last night before the exam” never works here. Among the disadvantages, is not only education is very expensive, but also accommodation, transport and additional expenses for the university, which turned out to be quite a lot of constant work with papers (for example, to get a room, you need to submit a separate application form – and it is not a fact that you will be given housing).

I am currently in their master’s program for Public Health and I gotta say, this is one of the most up-to-date places I’ve ever seen. High quality laboratories, state of the art class rooms. Great education, great culture. Whoever came up with the idea of fish and chips should be imprisoned though

Imperial College London is a wonderful place to attend school. I am currently in their master’s program for Public Health and the faculty in the department has been very helpful. I have been welcomed by the faculty almost immediately since I’ve been here and they have generously walked me through how to navigate master’s study and have given me advice about living in London as an international. The course is rigorous but my favourite part about Imperial is that they provide tutors for students that students can use individually AND professors place us in small student groups with a separate senior tutor. Both help provides guidance on assignments and give helpful advice on how to succeed in classes.
