Imperial College is not for the faint of heart. I am a Computing student and goddamn you will be worked to the bone. There will be times when you want to give up. When you want to quit. But you will learn so so much just by being there that it’s all worth it in the end! The societies are fun and great and the community within a society is pretty tight-knit, so you’ll never have a problem finding friends! London is also a great city to live in, with fantastic nightlife, numerous food options and brilliant public transport, and studying at Imperial means you get to live with all of that as well!
View moreImperial College is my heart and soul. I could not ask for better lecturers, who, apart from being world-leading experts in their field, put so many hours into ensuring students are able to grasp the material being taught through numerous problem sheets and tutorials. The facilities (at least in Computing) are top-notch and numerous, and the career advice and support provided is fantastic too. Outside of academia, the social life is very good too, with a plethora of clubs and societies for anyone with any interest at all. And if you’d like a club that doesn’t exist yet, starting one is really easy! Bang in the center of London, you’ll find no shortage of things to do or places to eat or party!
