I have a hugely positive opinion of Liverpool Hope University following my studies there. I studied a combined honours for one year of Criminology and Psychology. After deciding to focus solely on the former, I couldn’t have asked for better support from the university staff when making my decision. My tutors provided me with any additional support I may’ve needed when continuing on with a single honours and gave their time and dedication to help me achieve my goals, and I was so pleased to achieve a first class honours! Campus life at Liverpool Hope was lovely and there was such a strong sense of community. I believe this was due to the campus being quite small – especially in comparison to some of the larger universities in Liverpool. There was a society for everyone and the campus always seemed to be buzzing with life. The only downside to my experience at LHU was that I was there during the COVID-19 lockdown, therefore I spent a significant amount of time completing my studies online. However, most tutors did their absolute best to provide us with all the support and resources we needed to continue our work virtually!
