Lancaster University isn’t the kind of place that shouts about itself, but that’s what makes it special. The campus has a calm, focused atmosphere that helps you really get into your studies, and the teaching quality is consistently strong across departments. Lecturers are approachable and genuinely want you to do well, and there’s a real sense of community among students.
It’s not perfect—campus life can feel a bit isolated at times, especially if you’re used to a big city—but that’s also part of its charm. You get space to think, to grow, and to figure things out at your own pace. By the time you leave, you realize just how much Lancaster has shaped your confidence and way of thinking.
View moreVery nice university, great campus in a nice remote area, good for a peaceful student life. Great computing, science and other facilities throughout the university, good accommodation and accessible student support.
View moreMy overall opinion of this university is that they have a lack of care for POC students and queer students due to us being a minority. I would recommend against coming here unless you are of a white cis straight position as you will feel isolated, ignored, and overall disrespected.
