The campus is huge and very beautiful – the highlight has to be Keele Woods which is enormous. The SU is great – it holds really good club nights and there are some nice chill out areas. There is a good choice of food however it isn’t the cheapest.
I am a dual honours STEM student and can say the teaching varies – one of my subjects has excellent teaching with lots of information on careers and other things. The other subject is still great, but not as good.
Keele’s campus gives a strong sense of community and it seems that everyone knows everyone. The students are friendly and tend to be from all over the country and world.
The campus is very convenient and has a Costcutter, farmer’s market, newsagents etc. Getting in and out of campus can be a pain with only one bus going into town and it is impossible to get a parking permit if you have a car and live on or near campus. Newcastle has typical activities to do like cinema, bars etc and there is a big shopping centre in Hanley.
