My experience at the University of Hull has been very positive. The programme provides a good balance between theory and practical application, especially in biomedical engineering where I have had access to excellent labs, workshops, and collaborative projects. The lecturers are supportive and approachable, always encouraging us to think critically and work independently while being available for guidance.
I also appreciate the wide range of opportunities outside of the classroom, including volunteering, employer challenges, and industry-related events that have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The campus is welcoming, diverse, and has a strong sense of community, which makes it easy to feel supported both academically and personally.
One area for improvement could be increasing the number of industry placement opportunities, but overall, I would definitely recommend the University of Hull to students who want a supportive learning environment and the chance to grow academically and personally.
View moreThe university of hull library study room is brilliant for students. Especially that I am an engineering student, I require a lot of study alone in a quiet environment. Another thing is the group work and group study, with those rooms it helps us get a place as a group.
I would recommend the library study rooms. How ever what I don’t like is that it’s just 4 hours per day for one person.
