The University of Hull has a vibrant student community. Some societies are dedicated to recording and uploading lectures which can be very helpful.
The lecturers themselves are mostly good and diligent, and are willing to help when asked.
The organisation of lectures seems to be a little lacking as it was not unusual for timetable clashes or for lecturers and students to not know which rooms they were supposed to be in.
The overall quality of teaching is good and the lecturers make the content interesting, although some content is repeated often.
Hull is a good place to have a balanced social and educational experience.
