The British sign language interpreting course is great to creat strong bonds with your lecturers. Peers and the deaf community. This course builds confidence and encourages their students. Down fall would be the structure of the course can be unclear but happy to speak to my lecturers with confidence about this

The structure allows you to work with staff to explore your own interests within your programme. Everyone is there to help you through your time at university. As I was a lockdown student, sometimes I felt isolated during lectures but our tutorials brought everyone together again.

I had a strong education and developed many practical design skills to use in industry with the aid of practical labs, intuitive lessons from experienced lecturers and many site visits. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to any aspiring engineer.

Studying with international cohort of students and developing an interpersonal skills is absolutely an edge to stand out in the real economic world, Heriot-Watt University builds you for this. Students coming from diverse backgrounds with lots of experience they had, around the world makes us the person for fast moving world of today.

I would recommend this university as it had a global approach with different campuses in Edinburgh, dubai and Malaysia. One advantage is that the professors shuffle between all three campuses do you get an all round approach to learning. I would suggest students to study in the Edinburgh campus if they want to enjoy a better university life compared to the dubai campus as it is much smaller.

Heriot Watt has provided great extracurricular activitres while at univeristy, making it easy to make friends and conncentions. The student union offered a range of options, and the sports union were great at getting all sports involved and hosting events. However in my actual course I found due to how big the course was that I struggled to get to know lecturers or suports in the business school. I think if it wasnt for sport I would’ve struggled at heriot watt.

It was an amazing experience in this University. They gave the best way to deal with all the contents provided pertaining to various subjects. I would definitely recommend this University to the upcoming students.

Heriot-Watt University is a big Scottish University with 3 campuses – Dubai and UK. The UK campus has 2 locations which are Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders.
My experience is based on the time I have spent at the Scottish Borders….I love that it’s quiet and with all the buildings within proximity. My only challenge was accommodation around the school as well as commuting every week. But overall, I have had an amazing experience.
