Hartpury College and University Centre is a higher education establishment that specializes in sports. The modern, specialist campus is located near Gloucester and Cheltenham. The college offers A Levels and BTEC Diplomas, as well as foundation degrees, honours degrees and postgraduate qualifications in the fields of equine, sport and animal and land studies. Nowadays, more than 1,600 students are enrolled in programmes at Hartpury College, in order to achieve their academic goals. Professional courses for example in leadership and management, teaching and training, as well as animal care, first aid and health and safety, are offered. The college delivers outstanding training and prepares students for their future careers in their chosen areas of interest. To prove that the academic staff is excellent, one just has to look at the numbers: in 2016, 98.8% of students passed their A-levels. Hartpury College and University Centre offers a multicultural and diverse learning environment, accepting students from all parts of the world, regardless of their nationalities and backgrounds. The college is the world’s largest equine education institution. It hosts three internation equine events per year! Hartpury College’s courses are accredited and OFSTED rated the college “outstanding” for pastoral care and support for residential students.
