What struck me the most about this university, to begin with, was its welcoming and heart-warming atmosphere. As you walk around the halls, you begin to feel more as if you are part of a family rather than an institution. Both staff and students are more than eager to help newcomers and their caring attitude was what instantaneously reassured about choosing this university. The close sense of community and care is also partly heightened by the university’s size, being slightly smaller compared to other universities in London.
Goldsmiths also offers a wide range of facilities such as a gym, a cinema, Cafés, and an extensive library covering all the materials needed for one to succeed. The professors are all very experienced and almost always available to ask for help outside lectures and seminars, during their office hours. I am only in my first year, but I feel like I already have experienced enough to be confidently able to recommend Goldsmiths to anyone that is looking for an enthusiastic and insightful university experience.
