Mechanical Electronic Systems

Generally, there are some great topics covered throughout the years with a sufficient blend between technical and theoretical modules. However, as the years progressed the work became less technical and experimental based, navigating towards a more theoretical approach to learning. This could be partially due to covid circumstances, however, online classes for the most part were able to be sustained throughout teaching and support was readily available. If I had to redesign the course I would include more technical experience opportunities for mechanical students, as at times it is difficult to visualise what you are studying in practice when all you have seen of industrial used machines are pictures. I would also recommend course leaders advocate for site visits/experienced engineer presentations and trips to further engage students.
