Durham University excels with its unique collegiate system fostering community and belonging. The networking opportunities are superb, providing students with extensive professional connections and a strong alumni network.

As a student at Van Mildert college, I have had a lovely time so far with the community environment and the newly renovated facilities. The Mathematical Sciences department has especially been impressive, hosting executives from various finance and tech firms, providing us students with a wealth of opportunities.

I like this university. I like the support students can get both academically, for careers and well-being. I like the range of extracurricular opportunities that students can take part in.

I don’t always like the late hours for lectures though at the university.
