

Cranfield University was founded in 1946 as the College of Aeronautics. Nowadays, it is the largest provider of postgraduate education in the fields of engineering and offers a world-class MBA, as well as customised executive education and professional development programmes. Courses at Cranfield University are relevant to today’s industries and equip students with the necessary skills and tools that are sought after by global employers. The school has state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. It works closely with partners in the industry and academic institutions around the world, in order to provide its students with a real-world learning environment. Cranfield is proud to have been rated as “world leading” and “internationally excellent”. The university has had global impact on industry, government and businesses. It is a multicultural campus, hosting students from the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. The employment rate is very high and promising- Cranfield is in the top 1 per cent of institutions in the world who are in CEO positions, as stated by the Centre of World University Rankings in 2017. Many of the UK’s postgraduate aerospace engineers attended the programmes at Cranfield (about 75% to be exact). Over 50% of the students are over 30 years old.
My experience at Cranfield has been wonderful not just because of the way the curriculum is designed, but because of the overall experience the university offers. Cranfield gives you opportunities in direct proportion to how much you’re willing to put into it.
I joined 5 clubs and served as a board member in two of them. This not only gave me exposure to meeting and interacting with people from different backgrounds, but also helped shape my personality and confidence.
Being a Career Representative for the university was another highlight, it gave me confidence, early access to events, and strong career support, which I’ve been able to pass on to my peers.
Overall, I’d recommend Cranfield to anyone who’s ready to be proactive and make the most of what’s on offer. The more you put in, the more you get out.
For the campus is going 10/10, a lovely place, comfortable ambience and cozy life you can have. Especially people who want switch from capital city to tranquil area. The natural campus provides soothe accommodations, facilities and communities.
For the course is going to 7/10, sufficient practical and hands-on programme while your main modules. However, some styles of professor you might take more time to familiar with it. Most of modules blend academic logical and company’s project. Moreover, the UK’s MSc has just one year, so it makes you feel intensive and stressful. Especially some assignments are not easy to accomplishment in a limited time.
For the communities, includes club, social life and corporate competition, could be 8/10. In Cranfield, as an unique campus which only provides MSc
As an alumnus of Cranfield University, I can confidently say that the module structure is excellent. Each course is well-organized, with a clear breakdown of topics that connect theory to real-world applications. The use of case studies and relevant examples makes every subject engaging and easy to relate to professional practice.
The teaching staff are outstanding highly experienced, approachable, and always ready to offer support and guidance. Their practical insights and industry expertise make learning at Cranfield both inspiring and valuable.

* Because the campus is located in a village, you will miss some of the entertainment and conveniences of a city, but you will make wonderful friends on campus.
* It is not a Russell Group university, despite being a high-caliber institution.
