The school was awarded a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework in 2017. Studying at Coventry University has been fantastic experience for me. The facilities are up to date and well-equipped, and the teachers are helpful and always prepared to lend a hand. Although the administrative side might occasionally feel a little slow, overall, I would highly suggest it to anyone seeking a positive student experience.

My experience at Coventry University has been generally positive, especially in the Cybersecurity programme. The curriculum is up-to-date and covers a broad range of relevant topics, from network security to ethical hacking and digital forensics. I appreciated the practical, hands-on labs and the opportunity to work with real-world tools, which helped me build both technical skills and confidence.
The lecturers are approachable and knowledgeable, and I always felt supported whenever I had questions or needed guidance. The university’s online resources and learning platform are also quite user-friendly, which made remote learning manageable during challenging times.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be more industry networking opportunities and career support for students looking for internships or job placements, especially in cybersecurity. Sometimes it felt difficult to get practical work experience while studying, but the academic support was strong.
Overall, I would recommend Coventry University to anyone interested in cybersecurity or IT. The programme is solid, the staff are supportive, and you get a good mix of theory and practice.
