City University London is a really good university that you should really consider.
Highlights
Career Advice
There’s a well resourced and staffed career centre that helps with everything from looking for part time work during your studies, career advice, CV and resumé help and many initiatives to help you figure out and follow your desired career path.
Course Content
In my course, BSc Economics, the course material was engaging, diverse, intuitive, challenging and mostly a joy to learn. I especially enjoyed choosing and tailoring my electives in my final year to suit my desired opportunities and career path after I finish my undergraduate degree.
Teaching
The lecturers are very well qualified, most of them experts in their fields and are good at delivering the content. They are kind and attentive to ones needs and are really helpful in challenging students to better help develop their thinking with regards to the subjects.
Location
The campus is located in north central London, with plenty of transport links, via two underground stations and multiple bus stops which makes travelling to and from an ease.
Facilities
The university has top class facilities, and supports your course with just about everything you might need. For my course, I had free use of software needed in the uni computers, and free access to pertinent publications like the Financial Times and the Economist for example. Lecture halls and classes mostly have lecture recording capabilities which are excellent for revision and studying
Areas of improvement
Accommodation
Is very pricy, which is to be expected in London, especially central London but that could really be better
Student life
The clubs and other non-academic activities in the uni could be much better supported and made more relevant for students
