They had a good number of excellent, committed staff but were let down by a few who weren’t up to the same standard. For some parts of my course I had the benefit of lectures delivered with enthusiasm and staff always making themselves available for extra questions, showing a commitment to helping everyone through the course. And then other modules were delivered by professors who made it very clear they were only interested in research and couldn’t be bothered with students, going through barely legible notes on screen and assigning loads of practice questions without providing the solutions. Overall the course was adequate but with glaring areas for improvement.
