For their commitment to and focus on us, the teachers also merit commendation. I’m glad I choose to major in Brooklyn College. You couldn’t ask for anything better from this university. They have a fantastic neighborhood, top-notch homes, and an excellent educational system. Anyone looking for a good university to major in should do so, in my opinion.
View moreWhat I like is how everything is put in place orderly and that we have a studio of ours to work in, but I don’t find it comfortable that we sometimes have to share with other departments. I love the school campus, but there should be more comfortable seating options. We also have quality instructors to make us understand what we do.
View moreI love this university! It offers so much support throughout your studies. You can always go and talk to your tutors about your project and they give you really good feedback and interesting ideas. We have lectures once a week (every Friday) with a professional guest lecturer. We also have one lecture every Monday about illustration theory and they are all very interesting. Other than that we have workshops regularly which are fun and creative, all kinds of 1:1 and group tutorials and critiques. The facilities are great, I still haven’t experienced them fully. We have a Riso print which is exciting and all kinds of other printing facilities like screen printing etc. There is always something happening in uni especially during lunchtime. There are fairs, a market day once a month where you can sell your stuff if you want, go-green week, employability week, employability lectures every week, events, parties organized to raise money for grad shows, etc.
The only bad thing about AUB is the accommodation. It looks great and the rooms and everything is great but they are very expensive. As the food in the cafeteria, it’s kinda expensive but it’s really good and all the packaging is eco-friendly. Nightlife is good I have no complaints. Some students don’t like the clubs that much but are fine.
Overall I think AUB is an amazing choice for anyone!
AUB is a friendly and sunny campus. It’s small and collaborative while not being too small (I still don’t know my way round)
My tutors are there for me to ask any questions whenever the studios are open early to late and they provide a wide range of materials and facilities.
The halls aren’t bad at all!!! also there are loads of new ones popping up. the town is GREAT for students and THERES THE BEACH! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!!
Best years of my life so far and that is definitely down to the university.
