Student review [#20493] for Media and Communication

Studying MA Digital Effects at BU was quite intense for me especially because I had no background in VFX prior to getting in. I remember arriving 2 weeks late into the course and I was faced with my first project, AQUASCAPE… Omg! I thought to myself, what exactly am I going to do? That’s exactly where my journey into the VFX industry started. My tutor was so amazing and he gave me the confidence I needed to forge ahead. Overall, I had an overwhelming experience and can’t begin to write in detail how much I learnt, I enjoyed 3D modelling the most. I would highly recommend BU to anyone who wants to venture into VFX as they provide you with so many opportunities job-wise and will always bring in people who are experts in the field to speak to you once in a while. Believe me, you will get stressed but it will definitely be worth it in the end.. xoxo
