Universities offer diverse facilities and ample study space, with a better academic atmosphere and a high degree of diversity. The downside is that there are a lot of charging sockets in the library that are broken, so every time you charge your laptop you need to try many times to find a suitable place, followed by the fact that the library is the only study space available 24 hours a day.
View moreBirmingham University is an excellent organization, it is the finest. The university’s resources are available to students for use in their academic efforts. The environment at the university is also wonderful.
View moreAs a girl in her twenties, I had so many queries in my mind, boarding the flight from India to Birmingham. Apparently, the University life helped me erase my doubts slowly and happily. The University of Birmingham is one of the ten Russell universities and has established a high standard for the education system within the UK. My program, MA Education, gives insights into the education policies, how they work and the potential of transformation within the educational system for the betterment of the future of coming generations. The classes are lively, and I attend them with an entirely different spirit, from the way I attended them back in India. We have students from all around the world and it creates an atmosphere of cultural integration.
I am a person who tries to grab all opportunities possible and therefore I got a chance to get a personal career mentor after succeeding through the selection process. The career events boost one’s confidence to step out of the University. I would have enjoyed the life here more, had the class timings been more orderly than the ones I have now. I have already recommended this University to my friends, but as the standards they have set is high, one’s profile needs to be good enlightenment to crack in. Overall, I would say that I’m more than happy that I got into the only University I wanted to study and I applied for , to continue my higher studies.
View moreThe uni grounds are very pretty and it has great facilities. A really nice atmosphere that I would highly recommend. Very lively. A downside would be that the spaces in the library fill up very quickly and even with the new workspace, spaces are still limited. There is also a lack of sports opportunities if you are not an elite athlete but overall a very good uni.
View moreOverall good Uni, student support was fab and lecturers were approachable and friendly. The uni underwent huge changes to buildings and green space during the final year, however, I believe the money needed investing elsewhere – for example, the education building. A huge amount of money was spent on the library which was impressive, however, there was an insufficient amount of seats for students, in particular during exam season.
