Studying at Bath Spa University was truly transformative for me. The professors were not only passionate but also approachable, always encouraging us to push our creativity further. The campus itself was inspiring—set in a beautiful location that made learning feel fresh and motivating every day.
One of my biggest achievements was having my final-year project showcased in a university exhibition, which gave me the confidence to pursue my career after graduation. The mix of practical learning, supportive staff, and a vibrant student community made my time there unforgettable.
For anyone considering Bath Spa, it’s the perfect place if you want to grow academically while being part of a welcoming, creative environment.
View moreBath Spa is a great university that offers a range of creative and non creative courses. I studied acting and found that there was a wide range of topics taught such as: acting classes, comedy classes, movement classes and voice classes. However, i believe that some of content taught could use some modernising to make the course more appealing to a wider spectrum of people. The tutors were supportive and approachable which added to the overall experience to make it positive.
Campus life was great! There was a lovely Student’s Union on the main campus which regularly held events and serves good food and drink. The campus itself is also stunning, with lakes, an Italian Garden and endless fields to walk in. It is a truly special and beautiful place to study.
View moreMost people don’t know that Bath Spa is connected to The Brighton Academy drama school which teaches musical theatre and performing art. Great experienced staff for all singing, dancing and acting paths, very challenging topics to improve your skills, long hours from 9am until 5pm or longer every Monday to Friday so you really get your money’s worth (£7,500). Obviously the location is Brighton, great student nights and events where you meet other students. Multiple campus locations, one brand new beautiful campus with big studios. We’ve performed multiple times in house and do a summer show for the public. 3rd years do many public performances and there’s an agent showcase; they’ve got 100% agent success rate so far. You get a chance to mix with other year groups and course students because we’re a small college. It’s full on, lots of hard work but very professional. There is no accommodation but they offer resources to aid your search.
