With free clubs and societies, Bangor University really ups the student experience game as well as opens up a wide range of opportunities for everyone, making sure that no one is disadvantaged. I admire the fact that the University really cares about its students and it really shows, such as through schemes like free wellbeing sessions which are held regularly as well as a thriving campus life with an excellent pastoral support team. In this day and age when knowledge is accessible through the click of a button, Universities are no longer just about earning a degree and academics, it is about experiences and fostering responsible citizens of the future which is why mental health is given such importance in Bangor University.
