Bangor University is an amazing place to study. I’ll be entering my third year of Primary Education in September – and I’ve had such a brilliant time studying in Bangor so far!
It’s a small university, so you really get to know the staff on a personal basis, and they’re always on hand to support you. The best thing about my course so far has been the high-quality teaching I have received from all the lecturers at the School of Education and Human Development. They’re all very experienced teachers and educational professionals. It’s great having an allocated personal tutor who is always willing to chat and catch up on how you are and how you’re finding the course.
I also love Bangor University because of its stunning location. After a day of lectures, you can walk down to the pier, or at the weekends you can visit beaches or Snowdonia National Park which is really close by. The nightlife is good in Bangor too – there are two nightclubs and plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants.
