Flexibility comes at a cost
Overall, I enjoyed my experience as a distance learner at Arden University. The flexibility of the course enabled me to fit my studies in around my schedule. The course content was mostly interesting and easy to access, and I feel like I learnt a lot. However, careless admin-related issues, broken or missing course content, and in particular tutors to whom Arden and its students are not a priority really let the university down. Most of the tutors put in a lot of effort and are very engaging and supportive. But others seem to care little for Arden to the point where they do not have a comprehensive knowledge of the material they are teaching or are almost completely unreachable.
