I studied International Business and Management at Alliance MBS, and overall, I had a positive experience. The course was well structured, with a mix of core modules and electives that let me tailor my focus a bit. Lecturers were accessible and clearly knew their subjects, especially when it came to global business strategy and organizational behavior.
The facilities were great modern classrooms, a well-equipped library, and plenty of study space. One thing that stood out to me was the school’s connection with industry. We had several guest speakers from major firms, and the practical case studies helped bridge theory with real-world applications.
Career support was solid, though I wish there were more opportunities for one-on-one coaching, especially for international students like myself trying to navigate the UK job market. Still, the career fairs and workshops were helpful, and I landed a decent internship through one of the networking events.
Living in Manchester was a highlight. It’s a lively, diverse city with lots of affordable student housing and things to do outside class. If you’re looking for a respected business school with a practical focus and a global perspective, this is a good place to be. Just be ready for a fast-paced environment it’s not a program where you can coast.
