One of the top universities in the UK is Aberystwyth University. Every student is valued, and the quality of instruction is quite high. The staff and professors are available at all times to assist you in any manner they can. I adore how enthusiastic and willing to assist they all are. The study material is interesting, and there are many different courses to pick from.

The structure of the course allows for experimentation across a wide range of disciplines initially and then to go into great depth in your chosen specialisation. I chose this course as it had an emphasis on developing practical and traditional skills, it also features Art History elements which helped me develop my academic writing and research abilities. The School of Art is removed slightly from the main campus, it’s a beautiful building looking out over the town and is a great location for learning to take place.
Aberystwyth itself is a great place to live, a beautiful seaside town that’s not too big, if the prospect of moving to a city is too daunting, and being surrounded by views of Welsh countryside is a bonus.
The people are very friendly and although Aberystwyth may seem to be a remote location in Wales, the university has a surprisingly international feel about it.
