UAEU is a well-structured and reputable public university with organized administrative procedures and clear communication from the admission office.
One thing I appreciated was how clearly the admission decision and next steps were explained. Admission office provided specific instructions, such as submitting an equivalency letter and contacting the program coordinator. This made the process feel transparent and professional. I also liked that the university encourages students to consult their college regularly and provides access to policies and procedures online. It shows they want students to stay informed and prepared.
However, there are a few aspects I did not particularly like. Students must complete additional paperwork within a deadline, which can be stressful, especially for international applicants who may face delays in obtaining equivalency documents. Also, some information — such as ID card distribution and enrollment arrangements — was not fully detailed at the time, so students may need to wait for updates.
In general, UAEU is academically serious and supportive but also administratively strict. The requirements and deadlines appear firm, so students must be organized and proactive.
I would recommend the university, especially for students interested in engineering and graduate studies in the UAE. It is a reputable institution with good academic standards and clear policies, as long as applicants are ready to meet the administrative conditions on time.
As a student who lived in the dorms of UAEU for 4 years, studied Business & Economics and majored in statistics and IT, this experience was one of the most valuable and fulfilling experiences in my life.
First, the dormitory life was extremely easy, with great amenities available 24/7. The security system and the presence of management made it reassuring and encouraging.
The university offers different courses, programs, and activities for students.
There are entertainment, educational , and social activities & events. Also there are job offers within university to help students navigate and challenge themselves as well as research opportunities and overseas courses.
The university campus is well developed and well connected, classes are equipped with technological tools that help students, there are transportation systems available for students inside the campus.
Personally, I was active as a head of my major where I helped new students understand and build their knowledge on my major and what to expect, I worked also as a private tutor in the student helping center as well as a front desk student service representative, I joined different clubs including sports clubs (swimming, yoga) and cultural clubs (Japanese cultural exchange club) as well as participating in research programs with my professors.
View moreUAEU is one of the most strongest universities in UAE. The university provides a lot of facilities for both students and employees. Also, they listen to the students to make the study journey memorable.
View moreThe UAEU is one of prestigious universities in the UAE. I like the professors, and the fact that there’re lots of resources to dig deep into the courses by our own. The university is separated into male and female campuses with separate learning classes. I don’t like the strict rules they have in the residential area.
View moreIt’s decent, but sadly not that much opportunities in terms of extracurriculars and competitions for international students. Food is nice there but again the aforementioned issue needs to be addressed
