The University in Dubai offers numerous majors and programmes for students who want to pursue different backgrounds. The majority of students at the Dubai campus are from an Indian Ethnic Background, despite the teaching staff having a diverse background from other countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The programme I had chosen was a BSc in Psychology with Management. The modules offered ranged from Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods and Analysis, and Social Psychology (basically different sectors within the psychology world). The programme also provided management modules, including innovation management, HR, business management, discovering business, and project management, among others. Overall, the learning experience is excellent, the professors provide as much support as needed to the students, and the modules are fantastic and relevant. The campus itself is okay, but small.

I’ve had an incredible experience at this university! The exceptional faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and extensive resources have made my time here truly unforgettable. The campus provides an ideal environment for academic growth and personal development, leaving me feeling confident and well-prepared to face future challenges.

I would recommend this university for the field of psychology as it involves a vast syllabus, it provides you with comprehensive knowledge about the different branches of psychology and what it entails. Along with that, it involves variety of different projects and assignments that you get to be a part of and contribute to the field of psychology. The only backlash is that there’s no importance given to the practical experience during the course.

My major being Psychology was heavily theoretical, it would have been better if there could have been more practical applications or projects as well. Additionally, the my last 2 years at Heriot was completely online due to Covid; online classes weren’t as good as the in-person ones.

I graduated as a BSc. Psychology student and the 3 years that I’ve spent in the University were smooth because of the professors support, most of them were easy to speak to and would be accessible over teams most of the time if you’ve got doubts with your assignment.
