I love it. I’ll be starting the second year in the fall, and so far I’ve enjoyed it. I do think it could be more study intensive in some courses, but the business and the architecture/interior design courses work the students a lot. You learn a lot regardless.
And their transfer programs are really good too! Really helps you move to Canada or other places of interest too.
The community is really fun. The staff are super chill. Your peers depend on your year group, which I’d say I got lucky with. But you’ll make friends everywhere from staff to students across year groups because it’s a small, cosy university.
Now that it’s moving to CityWalk, the experience might change (might be bigger, more people, etc.). I’m sure going abroad is a great decision, but if you want a slightly less expensive program and to work in the UAE, CUD’s one of the best in the country.
