The university I didn’t want to attend firstly but ended to be the best decision ever.
Most of the professors were great as you could feel the real desire to teach you something. Most if not all of the students were very motivated to study which made the studying easier and more efficient. The university itself has super cozy vibes with the professors who support you always. All your ideas are welcomed here. And last but not the least lots of international exchange programs make the studying process more interesting and rewarding.

I did both BA and MA (English Language and Literature) here and I’d recommend it to anyone who aspires to learn languages. Language programs were comprehensive and allowed me to reach the level where I was able to study other subjects in English. The campus is beautiful and conducive for learning. My favourite place was definitely the park next to the library!

This university is definitely among the best ones in Ukraine. The teachers and the community are great. I also like that I was able to apply the knowledge that I acquired. It really helped me in my professional career.
One of the cons is that the school is located in a very small town so there’s not a lot of things to do and the accommodation for students is very limited to dorms or very old apartments for rent. Also the school curriculum differs from other schools in Ukraine, so it is a bit challenging to transfer to and from Ostroh Academy.
That’s said, I definitely recommend the National University of Ostroh Academy.

It was my dream to study at this particular university. I had previously attended an orientation day to get acquainted with the university and its layout, and I also took preparatory courses. I studied at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages and received my master’s degree. Studying at this faculty is quite challenging, especially the first 2 years, as the programme is very intensive, with many subjects and a lot of homework. Among the advantages, I can highlight the following points: very professional teaching staff, no corruption, a good base of textbooks and teaching materials, a friendly atmosphere within the university, interesting university events and extracurricular activities, patriotic education. On the other hand, the university is located in a small town, so there is not much infrastructure, and there is a heavy workload. In general, the university shaped me as a person, gave me the opportunity to meet great friends, and to develop professional skills and high overall potential.
