at Middle East Technical University - METU

I am IN LOVE with my university. It basically offers everything a student can basically want. It has many different departments so you can really find what works for you as your field of study. The professors in METU are one of a kind. I can easily say that they are some of the best in their fields and they do everything in their power for students to develop academically. For student life in general, I can easily say that it is the best university in Turkey with the greatest quality and variety of student clubs. It has up to 100 student clubs and this number doesn’t even involve the sports teams! Students really discover themselves through these clubs. Some even make a second career out of it! The campus, oh THE CAMPUS!!! Since it is a crowded university it has many dormitories for students and accommodation places for professors as well. It has many social, sports, entertainment facilities. When I was researching universities and I talked to people who had graduated from METU, they ALL talked about one thing in common: Graduates from METU are everywhere and people from METU have a whole different special connection with each other. They always help each other out and you can find a person from METU where ever you go!
