It’s great because I don’t have too many contact hours so I can manage my time well. I also like the fact that we take an exam after each unit (every 3 to 4 weeks) so the material does not accumulate until the end of the year. More so, if you want to study more besides your main bachelors you can apply for the Honors College. There are also some things that aren’t so great like the fact that not all lectures are useful (some are kinda bad), the schedule is not fixed (so it’s hard to develop a routine around it) and the fact that we have to study very late at night (every monday and wednesday from 6 to 8 pm). Overall though the university (beyond just my faculty) is great. They offer very good deals for students such as cheap gym membership at the ACLO (huge sportscaster) and free Dutch language classes. I strongly recommend the University of Groningen for those who want to study not only Medicine but also other programs.
