I have attended the programme for about 3 months now, and I can honestly say that I am very happy with my choice. The professors have a very personal approach to students, you can easily get feedback from them, which makes everything very clear. A lot of in-class presentations are preparing us for future meetings, and sport-related homework and assignments are a great base for what is waiting for us students in the industry. What I like about this course the most is the variety of topics offered to students. It varies from sociology to economy, it digs deep into personal psychology so you can understand yourself as much as the world of sports. Lecturers are all different, everyone has a specific type of teaching. As it is the university of applied sciences, we have to do a lot of practical stuff, for example, presentations, essays, even blogs. Of course, this course is quite hard and a lot of free time goes into learning. After graduating you will have a very big pool of job opportunities as you will be taught a lot of different things. It teaches you to be adaptable but brave to express your opinion and the main goal of all this course is to make the sports world much better and progressive.
View moreThe sports industry seems to be developing really fast, so I chose the International Sport Management programme with the intention of becoming a part of this business. The experience was very pleasant so far. I have to highlight that the lecturers are very experienced and their workshops are filled with real examples from their lives. Additionally, the contact with them is persistent and there are no problems with communicating. However, I sometimes feel as if they do not put enough effort into giving proper feedback after any presentations or exercises.
When it comes to the variety of courses I am really satisfied because this programmes involves classes such as marketing, economics, but also leadership and communication skills.
Finally, the organization is top level. The university has helped me with everything since the beginning of the application process, including accommodation.
I have not finished it yet, however, I would definitely recommend ISPM programme to everyone who is keen on sports and want to improve their knowledge of sports industry. They will not be disappointed.
