Nijmegen is a fantastic city for students — centrally located, lively, and steeped in history as the oldest city in the Netherlands. It’s a wonderful place to live and study, combining cultural richness with a vibrant student atmosphere.

The program is super international, which makes the whole experience even better. Since the pandemic started, most classes have been online, and both the teachers and staff have been really supportive with that shift. The only tough part is how much material there is—it takes a lot of time to go through everything, and the workload during exams can feel pretty heavy.

Studying at Radboud has been such a good choice. There’s so much going on here—different programs to pick from, loads of support, and a campus that’s super green and easy to enjoy. It’s not just about lectures either—you’ve got career services, sports, study groups, and even a writing center if you need help with assignments or planning your next steps.

Nijmegen itself is a fun student city, not too big but full of life. Honestly, I feel like I picked the right place for my bachelor’s, and I’m looking forward to the next few years here.

If you’re after a lively campus life in a calm, green setting, Radboud hits the mark. The buildings are sleek and modern, and the campus feels like you’re studying in a forest park. There’s always something going on with student clubs, sports groups, and cool chances like working with professors or joining student associations.

International students are well taken care of—with housing help, friendly services, and access to one of the best gyms around for a low price.

Nijmegen may be small, but it’s always buzzing with events and is super well-connected for weekend trips to Germany, Belgium, and beyond.
Classes are small, which makes learning personal. The course setup gives you lots of choice, and studying abroad for a semester is right there if you want it. Teachers are easy to talk to and happy to help.
I’d tell any student looking for a solid academic setup in a peaceful city with an active campus life—Radboud is totally worth it.

Very international programme and university. Since the start of the pandemic, the majority of teaching has been online and teachers and university staff offered assistance in this matter. The information received demands a big amount of time to be processed and learned, a big study load when it comes to examinations.

The Master’s in Business Administration is the perfect programme for anyone looking for a research Master’s programme with an interdisciplinary focus. The specializations are both relevant with professors who are experts in their field. While doing a Master’s in Marketing I have the opportunity to apply my academic knowledge to real organizational problems and work with companies on their marketing challenges. The student city of Nijmegen is also the perfect place to start your Dutch adventure! The city is very central and being the oldest city in the Netherlands it is a charming place to live with lots of student activities.

You can find whatever you like there. There is something for every person! It is very friendly to international students and the diploma is really valid. There are more than 80 sports as well offered with a very cheap subscription.

Radboud University Nijmegen is a place full of possibilities, opportunities, and support. The university has a wide range of studies on different faculties. The campus is very green and has many facilities to enjoy your studies apart from simply following courses. Among other things, there is a career service, study associations, a sports center and an academic writing center where you can follow activities or get help with your future planning. All in all, Nijmegen is a great student city with a well-facilitated university. I definitely made the right choice to follow a bachelors programme at the RU and I am looking forward to the upcoming years in Nijmegen!

I can recommend Radboud University because it is a university where you get personal feedback, smaller groups and nice (new) facilities. The university is preparing you for the job market with a more social view on the materials and the knowledge.

What can be better? The communication is weak sometimes, as they were very late in approving me and I had to chase them for answers a lot in the first weeks.
