Studying Entrepreneurship and Retail Management at NHL Stenden has been an amazing journey so far. What really sets this program apart is its practical, hands-on approach to learning. From day one, we are encouraged to think like entrepreneurs, work on real business cases, and develop the skills needed to succeed in the modern business world.
One of the best aspects of the course is the strong connection with companies. We’ve already visited multiple businesses, where we had the chance to see how different industries operate and learn directly from experienced professionals. These company visits, along with guest lectures and networking opportunities, provide valuable insights that go far beyond textbooks. It’s incredibly motivating to see how theory is applied in real-life situations!
The learning environment at NHL Stenden is also very international and dynamic, with students from different backgrounds bringing unique perspectives to every project. The lecturers are supportive and truly invested in helping us succeed, always encouraging innovation and critical thinking.
That being said, there are a few areas where NHL Stenden could improve. Some insight of some courses could be improved to ensure a smoother learning experience, as certain subjects feel a bit rushed. Lastly, clearer communication about assignments and grading criteria would help students better understand expectations.
Overall, if you’re looking for a program that goes beyond theory, challenges you to think creatively, and gives you real business experience, I highly recommend this course. Despite a few areas for improvement, NHL Stenden provides a strong foundation for future entrepreneurs and business professionals.
