This study has a broad level of cultural diversity with tutors and students from all over Europe, and even outside of Europe. Because of that, many international opportunities appear which make trips to many countries in and outside of Europe possible during the studies. Besides that Dutch students are obliged to spend half a year abroad which gives you the chance to go somewhere you always wanted to go and work for a company of your own choice. For an international student in Leeuwarden there are many social events and such to head to outside of your study time. This is great for your social life when you do not know anyone in a new country. The study itself is quite general which gives you the opportunity to see what you enjoy. Topics such as management, HR, marketing, sustainability, culture, and many others are something you are working with on a daily basis in your essays, papers, and other assignments. Summing this all up, a great study for people in the North of the Netherlands and international students that look for a new opportunity abroad.

I really liked the courses I took, it was really exciting and it taught me a lot, the teachers were very professional, they helped me understand everything and know what’s going around me, the students were very hard working and working in group work was very fun and it was a nice experience.

What I like the most about my program is that I’m studying what I’m passionate about which is specifically marketing and business in general. What I liked about the university and the teacher is what they were trying to give us. Practical and real work experience by dealing with real companies and case studies and they didn’t focus only on the theoretical part.
what can improve in the school is the organizing in some cases and filtering the subjects we were studying because I believe there are some subjects can be replaced with more useful subjects.
The student life was great and the environment is international. I think I’d recommend the university to others but I will be clear with all the disadvantages.
I’m still a fresh graduate so my career still not clear, but I think the degree that I got from the university will give me an advantage in my career.
