As a student in the Master’s in River Delta Development at HZ University of Applied Sciences, I found the programme very practical and strongly connected to real-world delta challenges like flooding and climate adaptation. The international class environment made teamwork interesting and helped me learn from different perspectives.

The Living Lab projects were the best part because we worked on real cases with stakeholders, which felt like professional experience. However, the workload is intense and requires good time management.

Overall, it’s a great master’s if you want hands-on learning and a career in water and climate resilience.
