at Fontys University of Applied Sciences

The university building itself promotes a motivating study atmosphere. The overall studies are well organized.

The main problem I’ve had was lack of empathy shown from staff. The fontys organization itself is offering student counselling and opportunities for mental health support, but many of the university’s teachers remain ignorant and lack empathy. NOT ALL! Some are incredibly respectful and try their hardest to be patient and caring with their students – those are the teachers that made my experience so enjoyable 🙂

The one thing Fontys should improve in is hiring more teachers like the ones I just mentioned, and less of the ones that make you question if you should drop out.

Promote empathy and understanding.
