The Entrepreneurship & FinTech bachelor program at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is an excellent choice for anyone passionate about starting their own business, especially in digitalization and financial technology. The curriculum is designed to be challenging and fully packed with practical business and entrepreneurship projects, helping students gain real-world experience through work placements and business start-ups. With a strong focus on FinTech topics like cryptocurrency, big data, and e-payments, students graduate with relevant and cutting-edge knowledge tailored to the digital age.

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is a private institution in the Netherlands, It offers bachelor’s and master’s programs in English, focusing on business, management, and technology. The university has students from over 100 countries. Wittenborg has campuses in Apeldoorn and Amsterdam. my campus was the Apeldoorn campus can be described as quiet and conducive to academic focus. fun events and project were a good experience.

I would rate my overall experience at Wittenberg University a 4 out of 5. The university offers a supportive academic environment and has a growing focus on internationalism, which makes it a great place for students from around the world. The diverse community on campus allows you to meet people from different cultures, exchange ideas, and gain a global perspective — something I found very valuable both academically and personally.
Professors are generally very approachable and passionate about what they teach. The small class sizes make discussions more engaging and help create a strong connection between students and faculty. Many professors are open-minded and encourage students to share their unique cultural viewpoints, which adds a lot to the learning experience.
Wittenberg also provides various programs and initiatives aimed at supporting international students. From orientation sessions to cultural events, there’s a visible effort to make everyone feel included and comfortable. The International Office is helpful and offers guidance with paperwork, housing, and adapting to life in a new country.
The campus itself is beautiful, safe, and welcoming, with plenty of spaces to study or relax. The university also organizes cultural activities and exchange opportunities that help build a sense of global awareness.
That said, there is still some room for improvement. Administrative processes can sometimes be slow, and a few academic programs could include more practical or career-focused components. However, these are relatively small issues compared to the overall positive experience.

Overall, the system isn’t bad – I like the international environment, which makes me feel included and not left out. That’s definitely a strong point.
However, I’m giving it 3 stars because there are downsides too. Some teachers don’t seem very qualified, and the management system feels disorganized at times. There’s room for improvement in both academic quality and internal structure.

As an international student at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, I appreciate the truly global environment the school offers. Students come from all over the world, which creates a diverse and enriching atmosphere both inside and outside the classroom. The small class sizes also allow for more interaction and personalized attention.

The class schedules can sometimes be inconsistent or change at the last minute, which makes it difficult to plan ahead or manage other responsibilities like part-time work. There is also a lack of clear communication at times, which can leave students confused or unprepared.

In terms of academic quality, some teachers are highly professional and knowledgeable, but others may lack the teaching experience or structure expected at a university level. More consistency in teaching standards would definitely benefit the student experience.

Overall, I would rate Wittenborg 3 out of 5. It’s a great place for international exposure and getting a practical business education, but the university needs to improve its internal systems, communication, and academic standards to fully match the expectations of its diverse student body.

As a student at Wittenborg, I really appreciate the university’s international atmosphere, supportive staff, and focus on practical education. However, one thing that I believe could make the student experience even better is the addition of sports facilities.

At the moment, Wittenborg doesn’t have its own sports infrastructure such as football pitches, basketball courts, or gyms. I would highly recommend the university to consider building dedicated sports facilities in the future — just like most universities around the world have.

Having access to sports fields and organizing official university teams (for example, a Wittenborg Football Team) would not only improve student life but also strengthen community spirit. It would give students more opportunities to stay active, compete in friendly tournaments, and represent the university in sports events.

Even smaller activities such as chess tournaments or indoor games could bring students together, helping everyone balance their studies with recreation and teamwork.

Overall, Wittenborg is doing a great job academically, but adding sports facilities and regular sports events would take the student experience to the next level!
