As a social work student, my opinion on the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is that it provides a solid academic foundation in the College of Social Sciences, but you may find some courses are heavily theoretical, with students noting a need for more practical, field-based learning opportunities. i real appreciate the university’s overall mission to develop competent professionals and enjoy the enriching academic environment, but i wish for more modern resources and a better balance between theory and hands-on experience
