My university offers a solid academic environment with knowledgeable lecturers who are approachable and supportive. Courses are well structured and practical, helping students build real-world skills. The facilities are modern, and campus life encourages collaboration, confidence, and personal growth, making the overall experience worthwhile.

Once you enter, there is very little information for the new students so having a friend in another grade is still better than reading all the requirements in French (if you’re an international student). In the master of management – Marketing orientation, there are a lot of people and good friends to make. There are also a lot of student events organised by students for students.
As for the program, there’s a lot of groupwork so chose wisely your group member!
The best is their alumni program and the network fair which helps when trying to expand your network.

As a student at the University of Lausanne in Arts (French-History), I have often been very critical of my university. I think that the faculty of letters is a complicated faculty that implies the effort of the student, because we are literally part of the courses, since the system is based on the method of seminars given by the students. This system has its strengths and weaknesses, like any system. On the one hand, it’s about listening to our rarely charismatic classmates give the lecture, but on the other hand, when it’s your turn, it’s about immersing yourself in the subject and getting involved in the professor’s lecture and educational line.

I have been studying at the University of Lausanne since 2017. I changed my major in 2018 which was very easy and probably the best decision ever. I have been studying English and History since then and excepting my bachelor degree in June of 2022. The teachers I have encountered are very dedicated to the success and improvement of their students. They were always behind me, helping me and encouraging me to pursue my studies. They gave me useful tools to improve in the many subjects that are available at the university. They try to respond to your emails very quickly and their answers usually surpass the simple question I was asking. Overall, I have had a great experience out there!
